    Need landscaping information on plants safe for ground cover on bank in North East

    Does any one know if really good resources for information on Landscape barns and arena so they are using horse safe plants.

    Seeing lots of what toxic, but nothing about what are ideal plant and scrubs to use.

    Best advice - talk to your county extension agent
    and ask them to come visit and SEE the site

    are you talking a bank into a stream or a terrace bank in the land?
    makes a difference and in fact the bank into the stream MAY be an un-approve use of the land with state wetlands regulations etc

    Rutgers Equine Science Center has an experimental farm where they are studying best practices for water run-off and plantings
    Their website connects with info on the farm - so take a look
