    Default Oh yes, it's THAT time of year again...

    Mud season. This made me laugh - my mud coated horse doesn't want to step in puddles on the way to the barn either!

    My horses nickname is "Pig Pen" No matter what I do - he's dirty.
    His legs get coated with mud. He doesn't mind getting in the puddles either.
    He's really a challenge to keep remotely clean.

    Mud season is pretty much year round here. But that picture reminds me of one of my horses, for sure. The one that also was spooking at the mud being washed off of him in the wash rack the other day. He's speshul.

    I don't envy you horsepoor - I don't think I could hack winter if it didn't freeze and snow fall to cover the mud for most of it.
