Great news! From the OP photo, it looks like Macy can do her own cheerleading

    Yay for Macy!

(So happy that Jess is doing great, too! - my new girl is doing really (maybe a little too) well - we're going to have to use a grazing muzzle!)

I am happy to hear that, she is a lucky girl. I am so glad we didn't ruin your life! Jess and Vicki are totally in love with each other. Have been since about the first week. I am so grateful since I think they are both awesome!

Macy celebrated her clean bill of health by swimming in a retention pond as she was chasing down some geese. Can't keep a good Pom down!

Glad to hear for the good news.

    On the semi-related front:
I gotta get on the phone w/ the pom rescue...talked to one of the gals at my vet about wanting a companion & she recommended them. They are the vet for the rescue, and she & the vet have each gotten dogs from them.

Macy was scheduled to get her teeth cleaned when the pre-op blood work gave us the big scare. She finally got them cleaned and two extractions today with no issues. Even though they assured me she would be fine as the blood work was just an error I was still nervous so am very glad it's over and she came through it well.

Phhhew. You must be so relieved

I'm already nervous for when my Jack girl gets spayed in May. I hate that first surgery, especially with a new vet.

I am relieved. I brought my ancient pygmy goat along for a long overdue euthanization too. I gave her a shot of xylazine before I loaded her in the back of my car so she was sound asleep for the whole thing and went peacefully. Very emotional day.

Oh Laurie - sorry about the goat (even though it was time, it's still not "easy"), but very glad to hear that Macy's dental work is done and she's OK - my littlest Corgi had a dental done in February - totally healthy (save the dirty teeth), young dog and I was nervous from the time I dropped her off until the vets called and told me she was awake and fine... Its nervewracking even under the best of circumstances!

(Give Jess and Juliet and Mark and Macy and Teddy pets from me!)
