Sending jingles and prayers for your little one. What's her name, by the way?

Jingles for Macy...here's hoping it's just an elusive infection and not lymphoma. Has she been checked for hookworms? They can cause diarrhea and an elevated WBC and they can be hard to detect in a fecal. I went through this with my hound. The dose of wormer in the HW meds wasn't enough to get rid of them, metronidazole would temporarily stop the diarrhea. My vet finally found them on his 4th fecal. That was two years ago, he's not had a problem since. I'm hoping it's something as easy to solve as that.

Well, I don't know how to answer that. She did have a negative fecal but obviously I can't say there wasn't something there that didn't show up. She was dewormed despite the negative fecal for whatever that is worth.

Oh well, I was hoping I had an easy answer. Still jingling for Macy (cute name.)

I guess we aren't going to hear anything today. Hopefully tomorrow brings good news. She seems absolutely fine right now. Poop is normal and appetite is exceptionally good.

I hope your girl heals. FYI Intestinal lymphoma often does not cause changes in the peripheral (blood) cell counts

I never even thought to hope for a better than best case scenario but that sure is what we got! Amazing.
