    thank you all for the great direction in our search. Should I punt? probably...
    But if this guy has no direction, then I am letting another horse owner out in the world to maim and injure.

    not to worry, I will not get him or myself in over our heads. But yes, it's a wonder these horses retain anything when owners only take up the sport of riding as leisurely as they may take up such things as bike riding, Frisbee tossing, or sledding.

    Got to love the adaptability of the horse....sigh....
    ...don't sh** where you eat...
