Default Small rant. What quality can you expect from a $100+ showshirt?

So I bought a few showshirts at Bevals because I wanted to look pretty showing this season. I didn't go for the most expensive ones but ended up spending $116 each on two Tailored sportsmans coolmax snapbutton shirts.

I wore the first one to a show this weekend, I rode two horses in two classes each and this is what the shirt looked like. :-(

I feel ripped off as it's just not pretty at all!

I would definitely take them back. Usually I find the Beval customer service to be very good about helping with manufacturer issues.

I also say return them. I had to return some Essex Coolmax shirts that had something similar happen around the cuffs.

Take them back. That's not supposed to happen, and I can't imagine Beval wouldn't stand by you.

I call that getting tricked by a business....

Seriously though, I think some things in horsey world are just overpriced. I refuse to pay 100 bucks for any shirt, thus the reason I hit up ebay and end of season sales.

ETA...so my advice is definitely return it!

You might want to contact Tailored Sportsman directly, as well, and let them know what happened with the shirt.

I had an issue with some snaps falling off of a snap collar show shirt after the first time I wore it (while I was in the ring). In the jumpers, if your collar is undone during a classic, you can face elimination. I contacted the company directly and explained the issue. They sent me a new shirt and even a helmet bag for my troubles. I was certainly glad that I contacted the company.

Return it. I have 4 or 5 TS shirts and none have done anything like that. They aren't the snap collars, but even still, I can't believe that would be the quality TS wants out in the market place.

I agree with the other posters that you should return the shirt. And I would be shocked if Beval gave you any trouble about it.

    But it's really not a T-shirt.

Welllllllllll...that explains why I didn't get the reference. I made it 37 seconds into the video before I had to stop.

Since I know you have good taste in music, I feel a little better about my lack of hip-ness.

Agree, Beval will probably take it back no questions asked and deal with the manufacturer.
