    Default Charles Owen replacement policy

I fell off and hit my head. My Charles Owen helmet is about 2 years old. I've never had to replace a helmet for this reason, but I have heard some companies will give you a discount. Does anyone know if CO does this and what the fee is?

    Thanks in advance!

CO is totally great about their replacement policy. When I had to replace my CO after I hit my head the customer service was really great. I can't remember what the fee was, though, since it was a couple of years ago.

I fell, hit my head, concussion but could have been worse. CO were wonderful, replaced my helmet with no worries. I went through their website but their US center is in Eastern GA. They were wonderful! I have been for a longtime but definitely now a CO user for life.

I replaced my CO this past year after a fall on xc. It was stupidly easy. I think it helped that both Smartpak who I bought the broken helmet from and the local tack shop I got the new one from where both very easy and knowledgeable to work with. A great deal, especially considering a new helmet wasn't REALLY in my budget at the time! Of course, nor was hitting the turf at about 500mpm!

The CO replacement policy is 65%, 50%, 20%. Three years. 65 the first, 50 the second and so on. You have to fill out a report and submit it. One it's approved, you can work with CO directly or a tack shop. They are an awesome company to work with. I have replaced many for people without incident. Good luck!

I submitted the report online last night, so now I'm just waiting to hear back. Thanks everyone!
