So are you going to sneak in tonight while he is asleep and leave a carrot under his manger in place of his baby tooth?

    *snicker*

No, he'd probably beat the donkey with it. Or vice versa.

Quick update for those who asked:

They were baby teeth, vet agrees with our theory that they were already loose and just pulled/broke/whatever them a bit earlier, most likely from playing tug-n-run with his bestie. In the last week, the broken root on one side has pushed out and the adult teeth are now clearly coming in.

Thankfully DH had one of his mares sedated to get her ears clipped and someone else split the farm call for an abscess...

Glad it's just baby teeth. Assuming you've seen the movie Blair Witch Project: At the point you see little twig bundles arranged in patterns on the ground in front of his stall, time to run.
Try to break down crushing defeats into smaller, more manageable failures. It’s also helpful every now and then to stop, take stock of your situation, and really beat yourself up about it.The Onion
