    Default Holsteiner Broodmare/Foal Question

Holsteiner Breeders- is it better to have a broodmare from a top stamm (104a, 776, 162, etc.) and branch that produces states premium/MMPS one after another or a mare from a stamm that is known to produce top jumpers.

From a viewpoint of selling foals in the US, what do buyers prefer? Do they want foals out of a long line of MMPS/SP mares and a good stamm or from mares producing top jumping offspring?

Ideally, I want both. We want to breed for the top of sport, but buyers in the US also want attractive, correct, good moving, nice minded horses. And, if they do not have the talent for the top of sport, then they need these qualities for the amateur market.
