Well glad you found some that will work. I too have a 13" calf and bought both the Treadstep DaVincis and the Donatellos for schooling.

I found myself actually showing in the Donatello's last weekend because they are so comfortable and look nice. I have had complements on them many times.

So if you need something tall and slim in the future try them out. They are great for the price.

Sadly the height of the Tredstep boots is not tall enough. :/

Not to resurrect an old thread, but based on TR's pics, I slapped the Ovation Flex boots onto my amazon wishlist, and lo! my FIL got them for me for my birthday! My b-day isn't until Monday, but I could tell what they were when UPS delivered, so I opened them and am really pleased! I agree that the ankle isn't as contoured as it could, but the things are the first boots I've ever had that are actually tall enough! I am amazed and ridiculously excited! And they're slimmer than my MH boots, which is also nice.

    So, thanks, TR!

I got Tucci's from Malvern saddlery. I have a long thin calf with teeny tiny ankles... I thought for SURE Id have to get custom, but to my surprise, these fit me like a glove

If the only problem with the tredsteps are that they're not tall enough, you could always bring them to a shoe guy and have some leather added to the top, a friend of mine did that with black aligator leather and it looked awesome
