    I can't see exactly what is going on, but it looks like the rider is ready for anything, well balanced, not scrambling to get with the horse and has soft hands on the reins, supporting but not impeding.
    At least not at that moment, when by then many could be having way more trouble from that huge, awkward jump.

    Gorgeous scenery, must look even better from 15 feet up

    I like how the trainer, perhaps, at left's body language is saying, "Just sit back and keep your hands down..."
