Default more pics: the eventing debut of Star Colony!

I'm sure many of you remember Star Colony, my fall '12 CANTER acquisition.

He made his eventing debut last week at Running Start, in the step-over-sticks division. Speaking of sticks, Mick has the word's longest legs and often reminds us of a praying mantis or a spider. But he's very elegant and powerful, so we have high hopes for his future.

Cute pics! We need a step over sticks division up here for me as I start eventing... What a great low pressure experience for horse and rider!

Smallest we have locally is starter, which is still 2'3...

That's great! I'm glad that you gave us an update on him as I remember him from the CANTER listings. I love when people post their progress.

Oh, that's not me on him. That's Glenbaer.

(I really like riding this horse but don't get to see him very often.)

Well, thank you for presenting him in such an eye-catching way.

One funny thing -- the PPE vet told us he was 'about 15.1hh' so we bought him thinking we got another small one, and we like small ones. (The CANTER write-up said '16hh' but that could mean anything.) But Mick is at least 16.2hh, probably taller.

He's a very sweet-natured, willing horse, always in a good mood. I think I saw him put his ears back once, when he was flanked by two really annoying horses. That's about as negative as he gets.
