I saw it yesterday and linked it on Glenbaer's FB wall. I was totally impressed! She looks so grown up and in control of her prowess, now. LOVE THIS!

I snapped the photos for Brant of her coming up the bank, and she made easy work of it.
I also got to see her during the Eric Smiley clinic and she was fab! I think I have photos of her somewhere....<goes digging through hard drive>

She did Eric Smiley and Boyd Martin clinics that month and was very good at both.
Next up is George Morris. That should be interesting. They're doing the jumper division, which is 3'6"-4'.
One thing that makes Zizi so much fun to watch is that she loves to work.

Zizi is exactly as described on this board, plus some. Feminist plus athletic plus stunningly gorgeous, gentle, and elegant. She's a once-in-a-lifetime mare, and by far the gem of the barn for JMP and me.
Z's Prelim move-up will hopefully be Longleaf in April, and then we'll see what the summer brings. (The year's goal is a CIC* in autumn, so fingers crossed.)

While I was out of the tack after foot surgery I took JER up on her offer to "stop by anytime" and meet the kids. Glenbaer was very gracious to tolerate my surprise visit and introduce me to the gang. Let me just say they are as lovely and personable in real life as they are in pictures.

Zizi had a good day today at SoPi 1. Glenbaer says it was her best-ever dressage test.
Of course, we left nothing to chance. A few weeks ago, we bought Zizi her own small-scale dressage saddle, intended to make her look less like a little girl wearing her father's overcoat. And then today, Glenbaer had a pro braider do her tail.

Haha! I couldn't wait to come on here this morning and comment not only about how lovely Zizi looked yesterday, but how utterly stunning her tail was! That picture does NOT do it justice. I watched her warm up for dressage, but sadly only caught a few glimpses of her test.
Oh and her ears! Relaxed, floppy ears. Adorable!

Thank you for all the kind words about Miss Zizi! It was an incredible weekend for all riders/horses on our "team," and Z was very much the star.
Great for dressage, power-jumper for stadium. Yesterday she gave a wonderful XC trip, even though my being conservative gave us some time penalties. (NB: walking course in pitch black... truly... does not allow the most efficient route/plan to be constructed  )
Z truly showed her athleticisim, her ability, and above all, her 110% love for her job. Perfect pretty filly!

The "tail tag" was the highlight of my FB weekend! LOVED and still do!
