    Default White or Cream?

Kinda a silly thread, but... Although it will probably be at least a few months from now, I will probably be taking my gelding to a couple rated shows this year. The thing is though, I have lost some weight since I showed last year and my clothes don't fit anymore (yay! ) But should I go with white or cream with my palomino gelding? I've always loved cream, but didn't know if it would look ok with him. Also, if you think cream, where are some places I can find things? All I really see in Dover is white. Thanks in advance!

Are you talking about breeches? Showshirts? Saddle pads? (not that the latter would have anything to do with clothes that are too small)

DressageExtensions carries some cream pads; so does Horze.

I have a palomino mare and definitely use cream on her -- it is lovely! See https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-G.../aprilshow.jpg Note: this is an EOUS pad from Dressage Extensions and it's way too big for my tiny mare, so I got the same thing in All-purpose and use that instead.

ETA: breeches may be a little more difficult, but again horze.com has some cream ones. Personally, I've often used white breeches and a cream pad together. In the photo I am wearing tan breeches, which would be another option.

ETA2: My stock tie is cream and is also from Dressage Extensions. I use a cream FITS show shirt under it, but that color has been discontinued.

I agree with Quietann. Cream everything. Congrats for having happily unusable clothing in your closet

I too show in cream...cream stock tie, cream breeches, cream saddle pad, cream gloves. Here is a pic link (just scroll down):

    http://blumefarm.com

I bought the stock tie and saddle pad at dressage extension. The gloves and breeches I bought overseas from Amira (I think they were called champagne).

I wear a white shirt underneath because once a jacket and stock tie are on it doesn't matter what color your shirt is!

I get soooo many compliments at the shows. I figure if I don't win I at least look good
