I'm in Germany and just got a new pony! A licensed stallion by FS Cover Boy. He will be gelded next week and ship to the US!

    Honeylips, he is very nice!

Here are a few photos of some of my up coming youngsters.
This is TLF Bejeweled by Benno's Dream, out of my Crown Heartbreaker mare.

She is a yearling in this photo, coming two this spring.
This one is TLF Macarena, by Ridley, out of TLF Marzipan.
Taken at two years, she is three now.

She will be bred to Golden State, and lightly started this year.
and this is TLF Rockstar, by Popeye out of TLF Roseanne. She is three this spring as well. Will be starting her riding career as soon as the ice and snow finally melts off the riding ring.

This photo was taken at two years as well. Cant wait until they shed out so I can get some updated pics.

I am really enjoying this thread, and the photos and stories of everyones fabulous ponies!

Took this photo this morning of my husband riding our six year old Pony Cross sired by Wildwych Eclipse-https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater

They mainly do eventing and occasionally straight dressage

Yeah we really like the Warmblood crosses--they are tough to beat Tank is a purebred Connemara though--pretty typey too.

    Oh what wonderful pony updates!

I moved my pony home, it's been a roller coaster but had more good rides than bad. I bought honeylips dressage saddle and my smaller blocks should be here Monday so I can start riding in it (my fat thighs don't fit very well with the big blocks!). I am hoping some of the awesomeness of her ponies rubs off on us.

I got some new video today but I am way too chicken to share on here. The video was good and bad, but all in all it makes me feel positive about everything.

I really do love riding the ponies though....sad as that may be...

We attempted another schooling show. Unfortunately it wasn't one of our best. Still I too love riding the ponies even if mine don't have the gaits

ok, well my pony(s) update is that I had the best ride ever of Rebel - when he gets motivated he can really power along I just have to motive him more often lol! He did his first real canter /walk - albiet by accident but the HH was rock solid and he really "sat" .... we are getting adjustable strides, etc.

My pony to be is getting closer..... My mare sophie is starting to actually shape up - within the last week she has started changing.... some edema in her udder, and some sofftening starting in her HQ.... its really amazing! ... she is at 287 ... i am getting nervous! for all those that have gone before me, please hold my hand!

mbm, not to worry. The pony I bred yesterday went just about as long. The other pony I bred (synchronized the two) foaled only a few days earlier ......and supposedly ponies don't carry as long

We'll see what next year brings. I will have one pony and one horse (bred to a pony) to compare. The horse is a maiden.

Keeping fingers crossed for you that your mare has an uneventful foaling SOON.

Thanks goodpony and baroquepony. I was very happy with the stinker pony today. Judge said "very correct but unfortunate gaits, I bet you get killed on gaits at the 'big' shows." Sigh.

Tanks mom (who is definitely a pony bred to a pony) is in the barn at 349 days---and still holding--slow progress. She did this with her last foal too---all the colts were closer to her foaling date. And our maiden went ten days early!

Thank you, he is not really a pony but a pony cross--he does have a lot of pony character though. He and my husband recieved USEF/ACPS HOTY awards in both dressage and combined training. He's a cool little horse.

That he doesn't move like a warmblood. He doesn't have the "quality of gaits" that the GRPs are suppose to have. He moves like a 13 hand pony.

Hey, it's not all that bad for Morgan since all things are relative. She gave studly even lower scores. Comments were "obviously you ARE schooling" I had a couple of impromptu halts, reinbacks, etc. All in order to deal with an over exuberant stallion. He schooled beautifully....just fell apart in the dressage court.
