Default Share your fun horse art.

I saw a pic of this in MidAtlantic Horse. I normally don't think much of 'random wild/free horse leaping/galloping' sorts of images. But I thought this was a really appropriate use of the concept.

I love this statue in Paris. It is such a nice break from the usual military esque generals on horseback ones which are everywhere. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...1&l=0e2416cbda I apologize for the not so great quality of the photo!

I like this lady's sculptures (I can't get the life size horse page to work right now but I suspect it's my internet connection) http://www.heatherjansch.com/index.php

    Great idea for a thread!

I've always liked the Chevaux de Marly in the Louvre

    And anything by Marine Oussedik

Then there are my dad's paintings - this one is my favorite, even though horses are not his forte

Has anyone seen Stubbs' Whistlejacket 'in the flesh'. Completely awe inspiring close up.

The AQHA main offices and adjacent Museum and Hall of Fame has some awesome sculptures around the front.
All are life sized, this one of a race horse is very impressive, so is right past that one the cutting horse getting way down working a very fresh cow, sadly not shown in that top picture:

I couldn't figure out how to load my pix here; these are better anyway. in a city full of equestrian bronzes, the grant memorial cavalry and artillery groups are simply stunning:
