Default Need info on a Blue Ribbon Saddle

Hi, just as the title says. I have recently acquired a Blue Ribbon saddle. Very dark brown possibly black. Says it was handcrafted by B. Broadhurst and made in England. The leather is beautiful and the billet guard says that it is an AQHA Classic. I have looked up all information online and have come up with nothing. Just trying to find out more information on it. May want to give it to my niece, but want to have an idea what kind of quality it is and worth. I have a Crosby I may want to give her instead if this isn't a well made saddle. Thanks

I assume that since it is an AQHA Classic that it is a close contact or an all purpose? Blue Ribbon made a lot of lovely cut back saddles in their day and wonderful strap goods. They have been out of business for many years. You might want to get the tree checked, as it probably has some age on it (think at least 15 years). I loved the cut back that I had.
