    what an odd question,.

Seriously the world has become very strange when people can't make the most trivial of decisions without input from strangers.

Sorry to pick on the OP but being an old fart it's a trend which fascinates me.

I asked because I wanted to let my friends know that I wasn't crazy for driving that far -- nice to not be the only one they think is crazy. I didn't need help making the decision. I understand your criticism/misunderstanding with your being an old fart, though.

    I'm old, but I'm not a fart

I drove 18 hours for mine. It was a deal and with the transport was thousands less than anything similar....which there was not much of a selection of. I hired a shipper on UShip but he canceled on me, so I hit the highway.

WalMart has them too, and I keep a couple in my truck. One to convert from camper (what I have on the truck) to old style horse trailer and one to convert from camper to uhaul type.

I flew to Los Angeles based on a couple photos and a bunch of emails to buy the horse van. Drove it home to Phoenix.

They're rare as hen's teeth out here.
