Looks like these are meant to not be used in conjunction with a standard static vest.

Research anywhere??? Still seems like it could facilitate a neck injury.

I took it that the inner air thing zipped out and could be worn on top of a standard vest for competition...

I was thinking the jacket with it built in would be great for when I have problems just walking around and not hurting myself, but it does look like you still need to be clipped into the saddle for it to inflate

Normally "innovation" is followed by a period of testing and data collection. But not in the horse world. A product that wins an innovation award has its next stop at a retailer near you.

They "collaborate with notorious surgery and emergency doctors"!

At least this statement is somewhat honest:

The air bag Jacket is a recent innovation that hasn’t had time yet to prove how effective and revolutionizing it is for many sports such as motorcycle sports or horseback riding sports.
How pitiful, however that "user testimonies" are item #1 on their list of things that "prove" its effectiveness.

You don’t need science to understand why. However, turning assumptions into scientific proof brings more credibility
Yes. Yes it does. Keep going!

I will give them credit for putting the data they have out there, at least. I certainly hope more is forthcoming. In particular, I'd like to see the ends of the graphs that actually replicate a fall from a horse at speed. A fall of 0.5 meters at 3m/sec is like tripping over one's feet while jogging.
