Looks like I'll be SJ gate-keeping Sat afternoon. Jen-s, can we come up with a fabulous hand signaling vocabulary in the next couple days??

It's gotta be one handed only from my end.

Hey Auburn! You were on my list in dressage, but I never saw you. Hope everything's all right with you and your mare!

Were you a dressage steward? Which ring? I had ring 2.

How did I miss this thread? I would have loved to say HI to fellow COTH'ers.

My Peteypuppy went in Open Training A and was a rock star, finishing on his dressage score of 23. Of course it didn't hurt that Bobby Costello was doing the riding. But I had the extremely important jobs of van driver, groom, jump setter, videographer, chief clapper and giver of treats.

Sadly I missed JER who was 3 horses after us in everything. As soon as Petey and Bobby were finished I walked back to the trailer with them and was not able to hang out to watch anyone until after I had put Petey away.

    Ah well.

Who will be at SP II in two weeks? We will be there and would love to meet you all.

Assuming I'm not moving my horse, I'll be there! Yesterday was AWESOME!

jen-s: I was the steward for Ring 6. I think I saw you - were you the Jennifer with the hand brace? I'm the blonde who grew in resemblance to a lobster with each passing minute in the sun.

I'll be volunteering at SPII in some capacity, not sure whether dressage or stadium. I don't like xc jump judging overly much honestly, unless there's a friend and wine in cooler or mulled form involved....

We will be at II wearing the owner's hat. Our big horse is coming to town and I am very excited to see his face again.

Scaramouch, Mr. PM was in your ring in one of the novice rider divisions. He had a great weekend!

That was me! I got all kinds of lobstered up too. It's hard for the work crew to remember one is gimpy when one walks in on Monday with tan lines....

Anybody know if the spotted horse who won one of the
BN divisions is a knabstrubber or an appy?

Elmegaardens Affair is a Danish Knabstrupper. I got that info directly from Michael.

Actually, JER was in Texas working on a TV pilot. Glenbaer was doing all the riding.

I won't be there for SoPi 2 but may make it out for Longleaf.

BTW, nice weekend for your horse and rider, Lord H.
