Is there a Standardbred site like Equibase where I can find pedigrees?
I'm trying to find some copyable form of pedigree for some Standardbreds that my local rescue is in the process of taking in. I have what they think are the names, and tried both Equibase and Allbreeds Query, with no luck. I'm quite ignorant about Standardbreds and would appreciate any help I can get.

At www.ustrotting.com you can use the free tattoo search tab, there is a search by name function on it. That would give your sire and dam. For more detailed and correct info, you'd have to get a Pathway membership. Also, try contacting the USTA directly for help.

You may try contacting Ellen Harvey, USTA coordinator of Standardbred Support programs, at [email protected] or 732-780-3700

Pathway name/tattoo search IS correct information but will not give extended pedigree simply because of format limitations and database limitations (30 years cut-off). For more indepth, both Standardbred Canada and USTA have a per use fee, payable by credit card, that will give a 5 gen pedigree (printable) and maybe some race lines, summaries, ownership, etc. The pedigree is NOT a reg certificate, just something you can print out.
Who is the horse? maybe I can dig a bit for you

I appreciate the help very much. Thanks to the sources you have sent me to, I have been able to generate pedigrees on AllBreed for three of the six mares I am researching. That is huge!

The Standardbred people seem so supportive of rescue and helping to find careers after racing...perhaps they would extend you a free account if you contacted them? Would think it would be worth a try

This MAY help, particularly if they are trotters:

Gives you quite a few generations if it exists. Pathway (ustrotting.com) will give you horses back to 1980 as others have mentioned.

I just wanted to let everyone know that, thanks to STB Tissa and sk_pacer, I was able to put together pedigrees on AllBreeds for all six of the horses in question. Their help was worth its weight in gold and I am very grateful. Now, to find these girls good homes.
