    Default Sacrifice Lot--Ideal Size?

I need to create an overgrazed sacrifice lot for my IR horse and a buddy. Curious about what the ideal size is for about 10 hours of turnout per day for 2 full size horses. I will be sectioning off a portion of my pasture for them. I don't need it or want it to be a dry lot. I need the grass to be overgrazed to the point where they have something to do, but not get a troublesome amount of green grass each day. I am thinking 1 acre, but have no idea.

i would go with an acre for two horses.

An acre should do it. Hopefully you are in a fairly dry climate--here, that would turn into a mud pit in no time!
