I would not even try to guess, all around cutey, handsome, that is what he is.

One of our dog club members raised samoyeds for many years, then changed over to Harriers and there were very few in the country with them, he had to send them off with a professional handler far away to get enough in a class to get points.
I doubt there are many harriers out there producing mixed puppies.

It is interesting you say he bays like a hound, so who knows, maybe you are right.

OP - I have had two chow mixes; one was part golden retriever, and the other is part GSD. I also see chow as possibility here with your dog or maybe some collie... In one picture Tesno looks like his tongue may be on the darker side - one of mine has a full blue/black tongue. The other looked much more chow but had a speckled tongue.
Nice dog though, whatever he is!

Well, it's fun to guess! Maybe in a couple of years the DNA tests will be more accurate. He is 100% fuzzy snuggle dog.

I grew up with a chow/golden mix and chow was the first thing I thought for your guy. His poofy butt, curled over tail (we called our dog's his "plume"), extra skin near the ruff, and those ears are the exact same as my old dog's! Does he have any black on his tongue?

I could buy the other half as border collie or shepherd, something to shorten up that coat a bit. Don't get hung up on pinpointing the 2 breeds, there could be 8 breeds in any mutt's background
