Default Aiken on short notice: where to advertise young UL prospect?

Found out this week that an impromptu trip to Aiken next week is in the works. Probably won't stay through the weekend for Sporting Days. What do you guys suggest as the best way to get the word out about a really nice UL prospect that I'm bringing with me? I seem to remember a website like AikenHorse or something. Any FB groups specific to Aiken? Mods, trying to be ultra vague so as not to 'advertise'.

I use the Aiken SC area Facebook group, Right Side Eventing (also a facebook group), South East Event and Dressage horses for sale and the Aikenhorsesale.com website (a full gallop farm website) all seem to be good sites. Good Luck!

Maybe put up flyers at the March Madness shows. It's at Highfield!

    Default Contact Sellers

Last minute, your best bet is going to be to contact some sellers in the area that have a bunch of horses for sale, Courtney Cooper, Pippa Moon etc.

They probably already have buyers/clients lined up to come shop each day this week and could just throw your horse into the mix as appropriate. Be sure to discuss comissions, fees etc. ahead of time...

Doing it this way potentially would get your horse seen but several buyers that are already in the area and then you don't have to worry about the ads, video, photo process.

    Just a thought.

I'm in the same boat and I put a photo on the FB group sites that I felt would be seen by people in the area including - Horse Sales and Horse Stuff for Sale; USEA Area II; Sandhills Area Equestrians; Event Horses for Sale; NCDCTA; and SCDCTA and specifically noted that he would be in Aiken and the date range with the goal of reaching those already in Aiken, or those who were going to be in Aiken.
