    LOL I thought the same thing because I know some COTH posters get their panties in a wad easily. I also know Fairweather is an excellent horsewoman.

    I think that Fairweather is in Ireland and I've seen some Irish bred horses that have come to USA and they did lack manners. Not all that I knew that came over but some. None were OTTB's but the handling, or maybe I should say lack of handling, indicates similar training procedures. Now before any Irish come on and lambast me, one of the best instructors I ever had was Irish so I'm not running down the Irish population honestly.

    I think Fairweather actually managed to stump the COTH forum with her question and that rarely ever happens!

    OP ... If this is to be outdoors, plan on stainless steel hardware. Anything in a recess will be in standing water for long periods. Corrosion is not your friend, especially when you're depending on hardware in your situation.

    Weatherford is in Ireland, IIRC. Fairweather is in the good old US of A.
