    Default Recommendations:: Need New Clippers

    I think my Oster's have finally bit the dust after 10 years. There are so many products out there and I would love recommendations before I buy. (Trimmers, not body clippers.)

    I would like something that's not gonna break the bank, but really wouldn't mind spending a little extra for excellent quality and longevity. Quiet clippers are very important to me, but I don't have too much of a preference of cordless over cord.

    TIA!

    I have a pair of Wahl stable pros that I've had for 12 years or so and have held up great for doing some thick, thick bridle paths (and years of roaching a mini mane!). They, however, are not all that quiet.

    My cordless Wahl Arcos I've had for a couple of years. They are quiet and work great. I use the Stable Pros for legs and heavy clipping, and the cordless for ears and bridlepaths and whatnot.
