Slightly off topic, but I was once bitten pretty badly in the process of feeding a paste of bute pills to a horse, and when I went into the ER for debridement the doctor was amazed that I felt absolutely no pain

This will do a job on human kidneys. I have seen a trainer nibble on a bute tab with regularity.

I was completely shocked when I saw him do it. He asked me if I had any, I assumed he needed it for one of the horses. He scooped out a hefty gram and licked it right up.

Bute can cause aplastic anemia in people... that said, I've used it.

I love Cowboy Magic Rosewater Conditioner, and Quick Silver shampoo for my grey hair... I've used Corona on my hands, Hoof dressing on my nails, borrowed my horses tail brush in a pinch... I know there's more...

I have used watered down Show Sheen in my hair. I will have to try the marigold spray.

I have also used absorbine and have poulticed myself, LOL.

Let's see vetericyn, injectable glucosamine, DMSO, absorbine, cowboy magic, vet wrap, bute, and probably a lot more things. Oh and by the way they use to give bite to people. And my doctor gave me shots of Dex this summer for my allergies
