Breeches -- Craptastic or fun? What do you think COTH?
They're ...um, rather, unusual.... Would you wear them?

I've never seen any Tropical Riders in a print, I wonder if these were some type of special order.

If I was a slender thing, with my own barn (in a warm climate), I would probably do it with a nice beige top and tall boots. They're hideous, but in that really fun way.
But then again, I'm kind of oddly attracted to ugly shoes and love pairing them with otherwise conservative, typical outfits.

If you've got the figure to wear a bright print on your lower half, I think they'd be a lot of fun! It's not like you're going to wear them to a George Morris clinic. :-)

I think they're hideous but oddly fun. I might do them just to give my trainer a conniption.
Then again, I also have denim breeches, truly hideous late-80s rusties, the Kerrits black-and-purple-houndstooth, and my faves, blue glitter breeches that I got for $5 in a flood sale. So my taste is already somewhat questionable. (:

BwaaHaaHaa...
If they were full seats, I would buy them! But then again, I mostly ride alone and I don't think my horses care much about what I wear! I do think they should use a darker leather for that particular print!

i LOVE the print- but the cut is weird. they look like sweatpants. if they were actual breeches cut like a breech, then yes i would wear them proudly!

No. NO. NOOOOOO. Not on this almost-60-year-old tuckus!
Used to be Beasmom. She's retired. Time for a new name!

Wouldn't that be a great joke to pull at a GM clinic, with a photographer at the ready to capture the look on his face?

Ditto--but then no one ever sees me ride, except our other horses (the geldings would laugh, but I think the mares would like them!).

There's no one to laugh at me save the chickens when I'm schooling in my own backyard.
If they were my size I'd be bidding. I LOVE my tropical riders.

George Morris would have a major coronary right then and there if anyone wore them to one of his clinics!

Well, I would, but I too often go to the market on my way home from the barn!
Years ago I had a pair of purple TRs, and a tank top of THIS VERY MATERIAL, I am sure! Loved the breeches - the knit fabric finally wore out. I still have them around somewhere..... I know TR will replace the fabric.... but real leather is too sticky in my new saddle (so sad - my fav breeches are real leather..... now I find I am most comfy in kerritts full seats....)
