Most people don't need a $35,000 horse. They need a $1,000 horse and $34,000 in lessons.

It's going to be a grand time! Be sure to check our website for updates and to register for the stable tours and buy tickets for the Gala Benefit.

Blue Star Equiculture is a great non-profit that, among the many other things they do to help horses, humans and Mother Earth, is the official retirement home for the Horse and Carriage Association of New York City. We want to raise as much money as we can for Blue Star, so please consider coming to the Gala! It's going to be fun.

We all want horse owners to be responsible about retiring and rehoming horses... so show some love to Blue Star Equiculture, who's helping the working horse, carriage horse, and draft horse people do it right. http://www.clipclopnyc.com/gala-benefit/

I want to attend so bad. But unfortunately, its a long way from Texas and I must get carriage wheels either fixed or replaced first. But, I'll try to send a donation to Blue Star Equestrian in honor of Clip Clop!

My husband and I attended last year as part of our honeymoon, and we had a fabulous time. This year, I will be recovering from surgery and unable to attend, much to my disappointment. I look forward to attending in 2014.

I had a great time last year, and would highly recommend the event! It's always nice when a bunch of COTHers get together and this was for a good cause.
It's 2014. Do you know where your old horse is?

I heard that last year's event was very popular and everyone had a great time. I so wish I could make it but my funds are tapped out from my sick doggie. I had already made arrangements to stay with my aunt but the vet visits started and used up my travel money.

I hope this year's event is as well attended as last year's! I will be there in spirit.

Find me a date that can afford the air fare, paying someone to watch the farm and all my expense and I am there! I so wish I could afford it! I'll bet it is a blast!

Even if you can only come for the tours on Saturday or the fun on the hackline on Sunday - COME. You won't regret it!

I can't tell you all how much fun people had last year, it really is a singular NYC weekend, nothing like it! This year should be even better, as we are adding another stable on the tour, the venue for the Gala is much bigger, and we have a meet & greet at a great pub for Friday night.

We also have some couches available for those who can't swing the hotel room!
