    Slippery the first few times, bites619? Mine was actually too sticky that got better after a few usages. Strange

    Yep, my palms kept sliding! Now it's super grippy, I love it! Wish I had one with a nice pattern on it, something to stare at in plank pose to distract me!
    (A decidedly unhorsey) MrB knocks over a feed bucket at the tack shop and mutters, "Oh crap. I failed the stadium jumping phase."

    I've always had the cheap mats and have never had trouble with them being being slippery. I've gotten mine at TJ Maxx or Marshalls, as suggested by my first Yoga instructor years ago. I wasn't impressed with the ones at Target. I like them for a lot of stuff, but their sporting goods seem overpriced and kind of crappy.
