Default Spin-off from Cat-Lapse Photos: publicly-shared Sound Files?

Can one do this? Is there a Photobucket of sound?

It seems to me that purring cats warrant such a thing.

Could do that easily enough with dropbox.

That would work. But then is there some way that y'all could get your tentacles into my computer via dropbox as opposed to something like Photobucket?

Maybe I could make YouTube video and have the image be really boring.

But I think this is worth figuring out. Thinkk of the possibilities:

    A purr contest!

A purr library on tap for when you need one to survive the day and don't have a cat on hand!

Or maybe you are advertising a cat and want to feature his purr!

Maybe there are other purposes, too.

When you upload to dropbox, dropbox puts the file on their cloud servers. You give people permission to access the file on dropbox cloud servers, and people go download the file from dropbox's cloud servers.

As long as you set the permission correctly, we only download/view what you want us to download/view. Your personal computer really isn't involved.

    Yeah.

I'm always worried about tentacles.... of the computer variety, not the real ones. My apologies to octopi and squid (but maybe not jelly fish).

The Cat-Lapse Photography thread apparently provided great joy to some COTHers.

So I'm bumping up the "But this one goes to 11" thread of Cat Purring. We gotta make a library.
