The foal is cute but they say he's cow bred... aren't cow bred horses normally built to be exactly what you don't want in a jumper? He is RIDICULOUSLY cute though. Just want to snuggle his little face!
I've heard there's more to life than an FEI tent and hotel rooms, so I'm trying it.

Ok sorry had to share a video of my Appy mare who likes to jump from today (complete with the roached mane that I'm going to show her in hunters with).

Oh he is cute and I want to snuggle him too...

To me his build from what I can see in the photo he has very nice conformation... Look how his neck comes out of his shoulder... NICE.... he doesn't look too cow-y to me. And you just never know where you are going to find a nice one.. Just gotta look around....

Here is a mare that is available.
    http://www.dreamhorse.com/show_horse...rse_id=1843242
She is going well and a fun ride. Her owner also has a two yo filly and two foals coming this spring that are for sale. Her owner also stands Waps Rolls Royce at her farm.

Here is another page to check out horses by JG Appaloosas stallions for sale.

This one is out of my 25 year old saint of a mare. I don't know the people selling...but he is beautiful and would make a lovely eventer. His dam is my heart horse of all times, and if I had the $ I would buy him in a heartbeat.

Jamie- -There was no picture of him in the ad .
    LDF - Holy spots!
The sport horse appaloosas are out there, just can't look for them within the ApHC. I didn't even know I liked appaloosas until I met JG stallions.
    I haven't met a Wap that doesn't have a good jump!
Here are pictures of Waps Replay, that appdream mentioned earlier. She is coming 5, but was only started summer of 2012.

Shame the standard was blocking her front.

At the end of video shows her trip thru the chute.

I can't think of many that are already under saddle(that haven't been linked to already), but I do know of a couple that are ready to start.

Meggs, that is one cute horse. Look at those knees! I'm actually looking for something taller, though.

Here is one by All Hands on Zip. I sold him as a three year old, and he is doing fabulous as an eventer. Such a cool horse. Quiet, hunter style, fancy enough and huntery enough for the Derbies too.

    http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...14993845_n.jpg

His breeder is very focused to the fancy hunter type though, so probably not the place if what you really want is a jumper. My advice? If you want a fancy hunter, go ahead and look to the ApHC breeders. They know a good hunter mover and they know hunter-pretty. But get them before they have too much headset training. If you want a jumper or dressage, go to the Sporthorse breeders.

Default Whatcha looking for?? And the Mare in Michigan?

OP - how tall are you looking for?? and in what area are you looking? I have a horrible habit of searching online for app sport horses and came across a super cute roan mare in Virginia. Super cute mover, still could use a few miles, and nicely priced... I'll have to look for the ad again. I think she was at least 16 hands.

Definitely second any and all JG Waps. They are definitely some cool horses.

Also, I agree with keeping one eye opened on the Aphc horses. Not many of them will exactly fit the bill you're looking for, but don't count them all out. My old gelding was/is amazing. Coolest horse I have ever sat on and (pedigree) by All Hands On Zip out of a QH mare. (ok ok a lot of qh in there, but hey the 4' rails almost never fell ) Won a few Aphc World and Youth World championships in HUS, placed well in WP & Eq, kicked butt showing hunters back home, game and sane enough to do jumpers, trail rode, and I barrel raced him a few times
And despite the ERU, he could probably be pulled out of the pasture and still win a pleasure class. ugh loved showing my guy.

Derby Lyn - What did that mare look like in Michigan, I couldn't view the link? I just bought an awesome mare from Michigan and I'm in absolute love!

If you were talking about the daughter of Wap's Spot 2 in MI, she has been sold. Her new owner in MD was thinking about selling her, but has decided to keep her now. Some of the ads are still up, so she could have a had change of heart again.

Here is a picture of my guy...I might try jumping him a little this year for eventing. I figured I should probably get the walk/trot/canter down this year first.

Not too shabby for a ranch-bred son of an Appy packhorse mare and an untamed stunning Walker/QH stud. :-P
