I've got a new little mare....and, unfortunately, a saddle that makes her look like a Bryer model. Can anyone suggest saddles that fit both the adult human (17") and the diminutive horse? She's not a pony...but only just.
I'm in a similar situation...I have a guy who has a curvy back and only takes a 74" blanket. I tried a Neidersuss Symphonie on suggestion by some other COTHers. It seems to have worked for a while, but I bought a 17.5" (since that is what my first dressage saddle was) and found it was too big for me and still a touch too long for him. I could get it re-fit, but I figured to opt out since the saddle doesn't fit me. I tried a 17.5" Tekna S-line dressage saddle (deeper seat so the 17.5 works for me!) and it fits him great and doesn't press on his loins.
