    Default Eventing barns Raleigh NC

I'm starting the search for boarding barns in/near Raleigh - I was accepted into NCSU's honors college and will be bringing along my prelim gelding along with me. I'd prefer an event barn but am open to others.

I'd like to stay closer than 25 minutes to the campus. Names, numbers, websites or facebook pages appreciated.

    Thanks!!

Look for Ben Tursam or Amanda Miller Atkins.

    www.fivecountystables.com

    20 minutes east of Raleigh

3 arenas (1 XL sand, 1 turf dressage, 1 turf stadium)
Cross Country courses (just BN, N)
14 miles of trails, well maintained
    hills great for canter sets
    fantastic care, and SANE management
outside trainers welcome, and a few event trainers regularly give lessons

I've boarded there for over 2 years and do solemnly swear there's no drama, and it's about as close to horsey nirvana as you'll find for under $500

The Tursams would be your best bet! Nice barn, great facility, nice people! They would be the closest thing to what you need at your level! Good luck and welcome!

Another vote for Amanda Miller Atkins. I don't event but my friend does and she trains with her. She owns her own barn and Amanda comes to her.

    Ben Tursam - http://www.summithillfarmnc.com/

    Cassidy Sitton Reese - http://www.chorseeventing.com/

Annie Nienaber - based at Terrell's Creek but will travel to you https://www.facebook.com/NienaberEventing/info

Ben is probably closest to NCSU, located in Apex.

    Good luck!

I love the Tursams, I've done a couple of their jumper shows and just NICE people. I live just north of Raleigh, so spend a lot of time poking around in the area, heh.

    Thanks everyone!

So far it looks like Summit Hill Farm (the Tursams) and Hidden Spring Farms are the closest to NCSU. Does anyone have experience with HSF?
