Default Riding vacation in Andalusia? - UPDATE: GO!!!!!

    UPDATE:
Epona in Carmona is everything their website promises & more!
I was treated like a Princess for my 4-day stay.
Trails were gorgeous - even though the Fall season & a fire had taken much of the greenery.
Horses were lovely and the Garcias could not have been better hosts.
I had a totally FABULOUS stay & plan to return annually if my budget allows.

    Anyone take one?
    Recommend a place?
Some non-riding friends are planning a trip to Spain in Sept-Oct.My idea is to meet up with them at the tail-end of a riding vacation (for me!).
Most places seem to have a "free" = no riding day included in the itinerary.
I've Googled and found some places that look good on the net, but would love to hear from someone who's actually been.
I'd love to do some training Haute Ecole-ish and include some trail riding in the countryside.
Question:One site specifically states Spain forbids riding on any beach any time, yet another site touts "cantering through the surf".Whose (toreador) pants are on fire?

Epona, in Carmona. I went there last year and had a lovely time. I did the trail/lessons package. Trail ride in the morning, lesson in the afternoon. One morning we went to the beach to canter through the surf (fun!), and I had a lovely schoolmaster to ride, who let me try a number of upper level movements.

The family who runs it is wonderful, the food is fantastic, and the horses are well cared for and happy. Highly recommend it!

    Thanks, kelo
That was one of the sites I looked at.
Good to know their "hype" is not hyperbole

My non-riding brother may be interested.
Is there anything for him to do nearby?
He's a guitarist, so music would be a big Plus.

    DITTO!!
Did the same package, most amazing week!
I rode an awesome school master, did a Spanish walk and more upper level movements. Only wish I had had someone to tack pictures of me...
Great people, great horses, amazing food (very much appreciated after a long ride)
Cozy rooms, I had a two bedroom apartment type place all to my self. No housekeeping, which I actually prefer, have to bring your own towels etc.
Would love to go back someday to do the high school dressage.

    C'mon along!
Really: prices are not that bad considering most are all-inclusive & RT air to Europe in Fall is cheaper
