Default Helping horse cope with quarantine at new barn

I will be moving my horse to a new barn and he will be quarantined in a paddock away from other horses for 10 days or so. He will be able to see them from a distance. I am a bit nervous about this because he is such a social guy and I am afraid being separated from the herd will be upsetting to him.

Would a calming supplement help if he gets nervous? Any other coping strategies?

Ulcergard would be my go to.

He should be ok. It's a lot easier for them to be quarantined at a new place than it is at a place they have buddies. He'll be interested enough by his new environment and long distance new horses, that he won't likely act here bound towards them.

Start ulcerguard 4 days before the move. Other than that, don't worry.
