Ya know. At this point, who cares? They are in the hands of someone who will handle them responsibly and take care of the mare owners.

But wasn't that the big question when people began skewering RSF on this very board for trying to purchase a horse PRIOR to the seizure?

All kinds of innuendo and she must be doing the dirty for JILL!!!!11!!!!!! She is giving her MONEY!!!!!

Paul Morgan and Darlene Tierney are fabulous to work with. I bred my mare to one of their stallions several years ago, and they are consummate professionals. They used to have a large frozen semen import business as well. In addition they have an excellent mare band, so I'm sure we'll see some very nice offspring available. This is excellent news for the stallions, and for the breeding public.

Ohhhhhhh.... given the last thread, I'd say people on this board feel entitled to know every little last thing, wouldn't you? I'm sure our investigative journalists will be sure to find out the exact details though and whether JB is getting a cut.

Anyway, glad that is sounds like the stallions wound up in a good place. Hopefully the same can happen for RS.

Jee... Glad to hear that these two are now in experienced hands far away from her owner. The rest - who cares ?! The other thread started about the animals and it is about the animals in the end - always...

Hoping they were purchased... would suck if she manages to move everyone and get around this investigation and then can get them back. But it makes sense... shocked she would sell Redwine, or Aloha since the success of Arbor Day. At least they have a clean warm stall, good food, and hopefully blankets and turnout as well... so I am happy for their sake.

An official Press Release will be made by the new management team in the near future. I'm sure they will release any info that they want made public.

As a side note. I did see Red Wine in person today.

That's wonderful news for the horses and for the folks who have offspring from these stallions.

Totally agree. They also took some of my students on Co-op and treated them amazingly well. I have nothing but good things to say. And now I'm wishing I could breed my mare-she is so not breeding quality but it's tempting.

I will be interested in hearing whether or not the lien on Aloha has settled. Will be nice for Showjumper66 to finally get paid.

Very excited to hear this news, however I do care if they were sold or being managed. If in being "managed" means that JB has a continual source of income to keep breeding mares and leaving them or potential clients in precarious situations. If it was a flat out sale then most likely she would take that money to buy a house since she has til 3/1 to get her stuff off the property.

Ashaland looks like a nice place! They mention the "K" babies as being theirs - are they the breeders of Popeye K et. al. or the ones who raised him?

It is going to be a wee bit chilly for A and R

They bred and raised Popeye K - or I should say that they and Peter Karneff (the reason for all those K's ).

It was mentioned to me this AM that Aloha and Red Wine will each be bred to a full sibling of Popeye K.

Red Wine looked really, really good this morning.
