Redwine and Aloha in Ontario, Canada
I had been hearing that Redwine and Aloha had been sold to a breeding farm in the Ottawa area for a couple of weeks and today I saw an announcement on facebook about them being in Ontario as well. Has anyone else seen confirmation of this?

Does True Colors have them? Or one of the others? Blazing Colors? Special Colors? All Colors? something like that...

No, neither of them are anywhere near Ottawa.

Yes, Gatsby's owners announced on her facebook page that she is bringing Gatsby home because the owners of the farm where he is in training have purchased Redwine and Aloha and she doesn't want him exposed to EVA and any bad press.
I think it's great news.

I can confirm that Aloha and Redwine are now in Ontario under the control of Ashland Farm at Ashton, just outside Ottawa. They are not currently located at the farm itself, but at a farm nearby.
I spoke with Paul Morgan - the owner of Ashland Farm - yesterday and he told me that he had purchased the stallions in January, although they had only arrived in Ontario a couple of days ago, having travelled via Kentucky where they were laid over.
Paul has said that he will honour all outstanding breeding contracts on the horses from last year and anyone with any outstanding contract (from any year) should contact him. Contact information is available on their website.

Great news and hopefully it means a secure future for them. Class that he is going to honor past breeding contracts.

Will be quite an adjustment for them (though a good one I expect). Snow and frosty temperatures now --- and in the spring, I hope, green field to graze and gallop in. I hope.

So this Paul Morgan dude just put money into Jill Burnell's hot little hands, right? When will the roast begin? Flaming torches at the ready, just like they are for Rising Star Farm?
My opinions mean nothing - I don't own a stallion.

If she is selling her stallions, and Redwine might have been the most profitable for her, doesn't this mean that maybe, just maybe, she's going out of business?

WOW – What good news for the boys!
So does this mean Jill Burnell is out of the stallion business (except for Federalist?)
And what good news for the mare owners! Especially those who have outstanding breeding contracts. I am sure they are relieved to know that everything will be handled properly and professionally now – and that their mares won’t be at risk due to the horrendous conditions JB was processing in.

I am excited for these two stallions to have landed well. I suspect the KY layover farm was a big help, while keeping it on the QT.
I still have hope for a Disney ending for RS and the remaining mares and foals once things simmer down.

Interesting that she is selling them all off. Tried to sell Romantic Star, and now these two for sure. (Although surprised she would sell Redwine who seemed like the biggest money maker...)
Perhaps she is actually going to get out of the business? I mean there have been months of such negative press, maybe something actually registered with her?

Or perhaps just trying to liquidate what she can before there are any other MHS seizures/ county issues. Either way

Welcome to Canada boys... I am sure the temperatures will be a shock to your system, but you will be getting a lot of hay and good food to keep you warm!!!

I wondered what was up when Paul Morgan sold the stallion that he had been standing for the past few years... that means that Redwine & Aloha are about 20 minutes from me.
