For my Algebra I class, we are doing a project on designing a profitable business. I am doing braiding manes and tails at horse shows. I have a two quick questions, though...
1) How much yarn is used per horse?
2) How much do you charge? I was thinking $50 for a mane and $30 for a tail...
Thanks in advance for all your help!
I use about 18" of yarn per braid on a horse, and assuming 20-30 braids per mane, that makes about 30 to 45 feet of yarn per mane. I don't use yarn in the tail.
I would charge about $50 for a mane and $25 for a tail (tails are easy, at least to me).
