Dog Show Poem
Thought tonight was a good time to share this.
Dog Show Poem
I met him one night at the Garden.
He was sitting right next to me,
Wearing a tuxedo and a T-shirt that said "I love my PBGV."
He smiled at me and let me share his program
And we had a little bet on the Toys,
And later on he took me out to dinner,
And I took him home to meet my Borzois.
And I found that he was hung like a Bloodhound.
Like a Mastiff from old Napoli.
Now, I know an English Cocker can be something of a shocker--
But small Pointers are not my cup of tea!
The next day we went back to the Garden
To watch the Herding and the Sporting Groups,
And he held my hand as we sat in the stands
And my heart did loop-the-loops.
But we had our first fight later on that night
When the Hound Group was being judged;
Then he kissed me again on my Japanese Chin
And we made up with a shnoogle and a snudge.
Now, I may have more hang-ups than a pay phone,
But I won't be hanging up on him, I know,
'Cause he's hung like a Bloodhound
And he's hung up on me
'Cause I'm stacked like the Best in Show.

A Very Short Poem. Practically nonexistent, as a matter of fact.

Apologies
I'm sorry, people. Talk of disappointment, I was disappointed too. I posted it last night, with a comment that I hoped it didn't offend anyone (no bad words, but some words used in suggestive ways). The poem got 18 views and no comments at all, so I figured it had offended the 18 viewers, so I removed it.
I just thought the first night of Westminster was an appropriate night to post it, but figured from the silent response that I'd been mistaken. I just wanted to share it because I hoped some readers would like it and laugh out loud, which was the reason it got written in the first place. But 18 views and no comments isn't exactly good review feedback!
If anyone's curious now and wants to read it, I'll be happy to post it again -- really just did it for fun in the first place.

Oh I assure you, on this board, if someone was offended they would have let you know...
