Default War Horse -- the Broadway musical

Not sure if this has been posted before, but a friend saw it recently. Awesome. The horses are puppets. Pretty incredible.

Sid - if you Search Off Course I bet you can find lots of threads discussing this play and the Spielberg movie of the same story.

I saw both - the play in NYC - and the movie and IMO the play is infinitely better than the live-action film.
    The puppetry is A-Mazing!
After a minute or two you cease to see the multiple actors working the horse Joey, the other horse puppets or any of the animal puppets.

My Playbill credited Monty Roberts as a technical advisor and Joinup Koolaid aside, he got this right.

I'm obviously late to the game.

    I'll delete.

Just want to say that the puppeteers for the Lincoln Center production studied horse movement at one of NYC's urban stables, Kensington Stable in Brooklyn
