She's the spitting image of my late Gemma. We called her a mystery mutt but suspected a BCX. She loved the snow too.
Yeah, I don't know what she is. The rescue we got her from said she was BC X Husky...mostly because of the blue/brown eyes, I think. DNA test said she was BC/Boxer/Min Pin/Italian Greyhound...don't think so, as she's pretty big, 60lbs and long and tall. I figure BC is correct and who knows the rest of it. In any event, she's wonderful .
I thinks she has a whole bunch of breeds in her . I suspect one might be Pittie, as she's very muscular under the fluff and she has a Pit Bull play style...very physical, with lots of shoving and pushing and body slamming with her chest and shoulder and climbing on top of the other dog. She also does this thing her best friend (neighbor's Pit Bull) does, maybe she learned it from him..spinning around and slamming the other dog with her butt. Maybe Lab too. All her friends are Pits and Labs because most other dogs don't really appreciate the very physical play fighting and won't play with her.
She's gorgeous!! Love the pics of just tail and butt sticking out of the snow!
My boxer does the hip-check/butt smash! Lot's of dogs won't play with her either, they don't know what to do when she spin, slams and butt smashes them! It's hilarious watching her when she finds a friend that plays the same way!
She's cute! She does look a little Pittie around the face, although that could just be the way she looks due to a combination of breeds. Or it's the Boxer coming through. I have a likely BC mix and he's awesome.
