I will take the quiz, but when I saw the thread title I thought, "It will brighten my cyberworld so much if folks would just learn to use 'than' and 'then' correctly!" "Other thEn that" and various other egregious misuses of "then" for "than" are running rampant in written English.
Congrats on all your good scores!
PS: 14/14 -- Thanks for the fun link!

For a minute in 3rd grade I knew terms for the parts of sentences and such. Some old schooler taught us to diagram sentences. That was weird and useful if you got into the zone with it. But it was easy to leave the zone.
And everything I know about the names of tenses has come from studying foreign languages.
11/14 BUT I reverted back to the quiz itself after looking at the result... I HAD all the correct answers (my choice still showed in the quiz), but they showed wrong choices for the team/pride and prepositional phrase!!! I had them right!!!
So double check your "errors"... I should have had 14/14!! So much for that quiz!
