I haven't shown for years, but I'm sure no one give you a second glance for wearing a Speed Air in Hunters.

Personally, I don't find them that attractive and GPA has more classic models with similar ventilation that I think are nicer looking. However, for the $500+, you get whatever you like!

I HATE how the speed air looks for the hunters, but the judge doesn't care and lots of people are doing it so its not a sin in anyone's book but mine

I wear a speed air in the hunters, as do a lot of the top riders today. No one will care.

I just upgraded my helmet from a Titium to a Speed Air and can't believe the difference. I can literally feel a breeze on my head. The ventilation is the best i've found. LOVE.

The First Lady is much prettier, in my opinion. If it looks good on you, look into the First Lady.

No one will care and plenty of people do it. If you want it, go for it!

Plenty of people do it. Just don't get the green one with silver vents, go for like, black or navy or something normal. A girl at our barn has the green with silver vents, and that thing saw daylight twice before our trainer put a stop to it.

What about for the Eq at smaller shows? I feel so locked into getting a CO since everyone I ride with wears one and it's the only nice brand our local shop carries. And not to derail but I really like the look of the One K (plain version) and the price. Would this be suitable for hunters and Eq?

I wear a Samshield (almost identical to the One K) and even though I'm typically the only one wearing one, I've gotten nothing but compliments (and it's the best helmet I've ever worn), so if you like it and it fits, go for it.

Well, maybe amend that to say the JUDGE doesn't care. Those pesky rail birds on the other hand...

Lots of riders wear the speed air in the hunters. It is totally acceptable and almost as common as the CO.

I love my Speed Air. Had a velvet and brown Titium before, and the difference in ventilation is amazing! So I don't much care how it looks since it keeps me from getting heat stroke and almost passing out. I show mostly on a local circuit though, until pony gets his shit together at shows, so a Speed Air in the hunters is barely even noticed.

I wear my black on black speed air in the hunters at all the AA shows I attend. Perfectly acceptable, and much cooler (temp wise) than any other I have worn!

Meh, they don't matter, therefore their opinion is moot. They do not exist.
