Haha she is brilliant! I would be worried about the feed, but in the end would probably find a way to lock that door down with something extremely sturdy.

I love how in the first clip of the shedrow she snubs her closest neighbor and goes on to let the other two horses out instead.

If the owner really wanted the horse in, it would be in. There are latches way out of reach, and horse proof.

It does make a good story.

Since I have had a houdini horse, you put multiple locks down farther on the door, fence barn, fence the driveway, fence the front yard and then watch a yearling houndini jump those fences, tear up the neighbors golf course like yard and jump into another pasture.
Really the trick to keeping him in was the multiple locks with clips in each. If someone forgot though, reread the first paragraph

I have a Houdini horse too, and my Bluey was a Houdini x 3. You can keep them in, you just need latches out of reach.

The funniest ever was a stall break by Bluey. We could see the front of the barn from the house...he slowly strolled out the front of the barn, looked left and then right out the barn doors before making is final escape. I wish I had a video.

I think the owner was having fun with her Houdini horse and intentionally gave pony lots of opportunities while video camera was handy. The sliding aisleway doors weren't latched. The pasture gate's chain was hanging down.
