I didn't see that rail come down and I was whooping and hollering for a four-fault round.

and I still miss that there is no sound! Considering how often they broadcast from WEF, surely it's not that hard to wire the arena for a bit of sound? So weird not hearing the crowd or the knock-downs etc..

Yeah, the camera work has missed a few dropped rails.

Does anyone know why Katie Prudent isn't listed as Reed's trainer?
Sucks about the 4 faults - she always goes in to the ring looking like she's going to get a manicure. What a great young rider she is!

Well, when you have a field of this echelon, it's not surprising that a bunch of them do well.

Methinks Ben Maher just handed Not-So-Super Mario his @$$ in a hat. Party hearty, Mario!

I believe this is a CSI2* and the course designer can only build to a maximum height of 1.45m. Then look at the quality of horses!

Really, I've seen some instances where I've been quite dissapointed in her horsemanship skills.

Really? I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not. I'd love to hear about these instances. Not trying to sound like I'm challenging you, I am genuinely curious

How great for the winner- back to back Grand Prix victories in Wellington! That's no small feat.
And another strong finish for Brianne Goutal should keep her right in the thick of things for the leading rider award for the circuit.

Agree - think it's a hoot he seems so competitive. As if he could do that course himself.
That was fun to watch. I'd like to go down for a week sometime, just as a spectator. Rooms/cost prohibitive?

Ben Maher won for the second Saturday night in a row. Different horse. Same owner, I believe.
The hotel rooms are more expensive near the show, but if you stay closer to the West Palm Beach airport and drive 20-30 minutes or so each way to the show, you can probably find a better price. Also check hotels in Lake Worth, which is not far away.
