I kinda hate when folks leave those newer-type air filled yard thingys (what would you all them? Inflatables?) in the yard well after Christmas. Because they no longer plug them in, so they just look like dead Santas and dead snowmen. How sad! Take them away, please! But I don't mind lights. Lights are pretty always.

I've decided to leave my outside tree decorated with lights. It's on a timer so not a lot of electricity used. The lights aren't going to be reused since I've got new strings.

I enjoy the lights, they add cheer to the gloom of night.

I took the last wreath down today...part of it was squished in the side door and I thought it was a spider, damn near gave me a heart attack. And that is the only reason why.

I don't get those things-- they are indeed always deflated and sad. But I do love me some lights

I love Christmas!! Our tree goes up Thanksgiving week and stays up until the end of January. We have joked many times about a Valentines Day/ St Patty's Day and Easter tree....
