right now is one of those times. *sigh*
long story short is i have an infected incision and now MRSA has been thrown into the diferencial diagnosis.
I am so sick of swallowing horse pills, it's been over two weeks of horsepills with another week to go.
It could be worse, I could be IN the hospital.. but for now and hopefully always I am at home. Staring my TODO list down and trying to ignore all the stuff I wanted to be doing this beautiful weekend.
Anyone want to commiserate? Misery loves company ya know!
If i'm posting on Coth, it's either raining so I can't ride or it's night time and I can't sleep.
Well that's funny - at the same time you were posting, I was asking Nootka how she was doing with her MRSA. I can feel the itch - looks like I'm on my way to another outbreak. I can completely sympathise.

That seriously sucks, Catersun. Sending jingles your way.
I am glad you are at home.
I wish I were. I have a place to live but it isn't home and I hate it. Only thing good about it is it is safe, quiet, and I have my two kittehs.
So I will keep you company in a virtual sense, and hope and pray you will recover soon and completely.

i was switched to wet to dry dressings today and OhMyGAWD the ITCH...
Thanks Wellspotted. I appreciate the jingles.
sometimes kittehs are the best company anyways.
I've found the only relief I get is soaking in a very warm bath. Of course, if you have sutures, you can't do that right now, but if the MRSA site isn't the same place maybe you can try it.
Oh, and if you can get your hands on Manuka honey, doing a dressing with that on the MRSA site may help it heal faster.
Wellspotted - would you like a pen pal? I love writing letters and sending cards. I'd love to try to brighten your days a little bit.
hm. wonder if that is why the little heat pack I strapped to me one night before the nip/tuck helped...
PS. MyGiantPony, that quote of Jswan's is one of my favorites
