Default Politicos have the attention span of a gnat.

Pick the issue, and you'll find a bunch of people who all went to college and some kind of grad school acting as if it's a good idea to study for a final the night before.

    To wit:

The Fiscal Cliff. When did we start talking about this? Like, December 15th? And how long had that mathematical/legislative snowball been building up? Yeah, much longer.

Or, we are now talking about paths to citizenship for some 11 million illegal immigrants. And why now? Because the Republicans woke up. And why did they wake up? Only because they just figured out that the Latino vote matters in national elections. We could have cared about this long standing problem at any time, people.

    So WTF crammers?

As a longtime conservative and mostly Republican I am SO DANG GLAD the party is rethinking immigration. Maybe I won't be 'the radical one" anymore

I think gnats have long attention spans.

Some of our sensitive will horses run completely around a five acre pasture attempting to lose a cloud of pesky gnats, only to find the cloud of gnats weighting for them once they come full circle.

Gnats are very patient, persistent little buggers.
