    Very sad.

I hope for a rapid recovery for Andrea.

So sad. Andrea's such a lovely person and rider, and there's no consolation for the loss of an equine partner. Condolences to all who knew this nice mare.

It's hard enough to lose your riding partner, but to lose a good mare is heart breaking. If given the chance, they quietly take responsibility for all the other animals around them, your dog, the lonely barn kitten hiding in the hay loft, the chickens and every other horse in the barn. And if they don't have that chance they focus on you and are always up for the game you want to play. I'm so sorry this happened for her loss.
